Cortisol
Salimetrics Salivary Cortisol Kit was specifically designed to standardize the measurement of salivary cortisol across research and biomedical laboratories, and be sufficiently sensitive to capture the full range of individual differences in salivary cortisol levels. Prior to the 1990’s the majority of tests on the market for saliva cortisol were modifications of assay protocols intended for use with serum or plasma. Salimetrics designed a salivary assay that uses a matrix more closely matching saliva. This test provides precise results, using a minimal test volume, with a lower limit of sensitivity at 0.003 ug/dL.
