6. Essential Steps to Trouble-Free Testing

a) Before submitting a testing request, please contact us first at sales@salimetrics.com for information regarding billing practices and testing turnaround time. You may also order collection supplies at this time.

b) After a cost estimate has been approved for your project, please call Salimetrics with payment information (purchase order, etc.).
 
 c) Label your vials legibly using a permanent marker (Sharpie-brand marker) or bar-code labels provided (free-of-charge) by Salimetrics.

d) Follow our Sample Submission and Sample Shipping Guidelines.It is very important to include the Sample Submission Form and a sample roster with your shipment.


7. Fees/Billing Information - Invoice terms are Net 30 Days

a) Supplies: (cryovials, Salivettes, or other items used to collect your samples) are invoiced when supplies are sent. A purchase order or credit card number is required.

b) Assay fees: Assay fees are determined by assay type and on the number of samples to be tested per project year. The following table lists prices for our most commonly performed tests (other tests are available). In some cases we require an advance payment to cover the purchase or manufacture of testing reagents.

Other fees: Aliquoting samples, renumbering samples, creating roster, duplicate set of labels, or receiving individual samples.

a) Charged when samples submitted require additional labor beyond the standard check in, testing, and result reporting processes.
b) These charges are typically necessary when non-standard vials are used or when samples must be divided to perform multiple assays.
c) We recommend that you contact us prior to collecting your samples to avoid such extraneous charges.
