Daacro, A New Salivary Testing Lab for Europe

Meet Daacro, A New Salivary Testing Lab for Europe

The Saliva Lab Trier is conveniently located in Trier Germany, making it easy to submit saliva samples for testing from virtually all parts of Europe. Daacro is working in close collaboration with the Salimetrics team to connect stress diagnostics and clinical trials in Europe with salivary bioscience. Saliva Lab Trier provides the saliva collection materials, techniques and procedures which will ensure consistent, accurate, meaningful and reliable results. This collaboration links many years of clinical stress research expertise with the Salimetrics’ extensive experience in the development of analytical methods for saliva testing. Now, clinical researchers can take advantage of this unique partnership. Daacro also offers the ability to combine their European laboratory services with years of expertise and competence in medical writing, statistics etc. For more information visit the Daacro Website.

Daacro’s Saliva Lab, headed by Dr. Mota, offers expert guidance for salivary analyses and European clinical studies. Dr. Mota was a key player in setting up the Saliva Lab at Daacro, and is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards at the lab. Clinical research testing oral fluids benefits from easy specimen collection (as samples can be collected at home, at work or in the lab); convenient collection (as multiple samples can easily be collected for chronological assessments that span hours, days or even weeks); and a non-invasive, affordable, fast and accurate distinction when compared to traditional sampling methods.

More about Dr. Mota:
Dr. Monica Mota has been a monitor and the head of the Saliva Lab at Daacro since 2013. After graduating in Microbiology from the Imperial College London in 1995, Monica spent 10 years in the Pharma Industry doing basic research and drug development for Alzheimer’s disease. Her research work led to her obtaining a PhD in Neurobiology from the University College London in 2001. Her medically-orientated research interests led Monica to then pursue a career in clinical research where she has been involved since 2010. Outside work, Monica enjoys travelling, doing sports (running, swimming, dancing) and helping out in the local community. She is an active member of the volunteer fire department – so she knows what to do when things get heated.
