The Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research (IISBR) at Arizona State University invites applications for Assistant Research Professor. This position is a non-tenure eligible annual appointment with the possibility of annual renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. Anticipated start date is late Fall 2013. The IISBR anticipates hiring up to three Assistant Research Professors by 2015-16.

Candidate must have a PhD in a related field (e.g. behavioral, social, developmental, or health science focus) and at least one year of postdoctoral experience. A track record that involves the integration of salivary biomarkers or analytes in prior/current search is desired.

This position will work directly with Professor Douglas A. Granger, Foundation Professor of Psychology and Director if the IISBR, to facilitate new discoveries in ongoing research and create several new research programs. Specific academic department affiliations are negotiable and dependent upon the candidate’s field of expertise.

The successful candidate will work within the IISBR’s fully-equipped, state of the art Salivary Bioscience Laboratory which is staffed by professional laboratory and administrative personnel. Opportunities are available to pursue innovative ideas and participate in an international network of researchers with common interests.
